ASHLEY FRÜCK SIOMOS

SELECTED WORK
THE ATTRACTION (in post-production)
A surreal motel fable about intimacy as transaction—offered, consumed, repeated.
SCHOOL'S OUT! (private link available)
A surreal, deadpan short set in Toronto’s Financial District, where adults perform childlike games as corporate ritual.
ABOUT
Ashley Frück Siomos is a Toronto‑based writer–director fascinated by the worlds that bloom just beyond the visible frame. Through surrealism, absurdity, and deadpan precision, she explores how ordinary life quietly slips into ritual and performance. Her films examine intimacy, systems, and the strange theater of modern existence, using repetition, allegory, and carefully calibrated performances to reveal what’s usually left unspoken. Familiar spaces become stages. Small gestures loop until they feel ceremonial. Her work hovers between tenderness and discomfort—between humor and erosion, between being seen and being consumed—inviting the viewer into a reality that feels recognizable, but subtly, irresistibly off.
